Terms of Use

1. Apple Standard EULA

If you download SnapPet from the Apple App Store, your use of the app is also governed by Apple's Standard End User License Agreement. You can review it at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/. These Terms supplement that agreement. If there is a conflict, Apple's applicable terms control where required.

2. Safe and Respectful Use

You agree to use SnapPet safely and respectfully. Do not trespass, harass animals, enter dangerous areas, block traffic, ignore local rules, or put yourself, other people, or animals at risk while using the app.

3. No Emergency or Veterinary Advice

SnapPet does not provide veterinary advice, animal rescue dispatch, emergency response, or public safety services. If an animal is injured, in danger, or needs urgent help, contact a qualified veterinarian, local shelter, animal rescue group, or emergency authority.

4. Accounts

SnapPet may use anonymous authentication so you can keep progress without creating a password. Sign in with Apple is optional and may link to your existing app account so progress can be preserved and restored. You are responsible for activity tied to your app account and nickname. You may delete your account from inside the app where available.

5. Gameplay and Fair Play

SnapPet's core collection loop is intended for real cats and dogs discovered through the live camera. You may not manipulate, attack, reverse engineer, automate, or abuse the app, backend, credit ledger, purchase redemption, leaderboards, friend systems, or anti-cheat protections.

6. User Content and Sharing

You are responsible for images, nicknames, album names, card names, avatars, and other content tied to your account. Saved catches may appear in Explore with a feed-ready photo, optional cartoon image, owner name, and no animal location coordinates. Do not upload or share content that is illegal, abusive, invasive, misleading, or violates another person's rights.

7. Location and Animal Safety

You may not use SnapPet to expose, target, endanger, or track animals or people. SnapPet is designed not to publish animal locations. Any attempt to bypass this protection or use the service for harmful tracking is prohibited.

8. Purchases, Credits, and Optional Features

SnapPet is free to play. Feeding a pal is always free and unlimited. Credits are optional consumable virtual currency used only inside SnapPet for convenience or cosmetic features shown in the app, such as extra AI cartoon transformations, quick adds without feeding beyond the free allowance, and other optional actions.

Credits have no real-world cash value, are not property, are not transferable, and are not redeemable for money or anything outside SnapPet. Credits are consumed when used. Except where required by law or Apple's policies, used or purchased credits are not refundable by SnapPet.

Credit packs are purchased through Apple's App Store payment system and are subject to Apple's payment, refund, family sharing, tax, and billing rules. SnapPet verifies Apple-signed StoreKit transactions through a server-side Cloud Function before credits are granted.

Credit prices, pack sizes, free allowances, feature costs, reward amounts, and available optional features may change as part of service updates, balancing, safety, platform requirements, or anti-abuse work. The app will show the current available packs and costs before purchase or use.

9. Intellectual Property

SnapPet, its design, software, game systems, text, branding, and original assets are owned by the app developer or licensed to the app developer. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from the app except as allowed by law or by these Terms.

10. Service Changes

We may update, suspend, remove, or change features as needed for safety, security, legal compliance, product quality, or platform requirements.

11. Disclaimer

SnapPet is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties of uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, the developer is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising from your use of SnapPet.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms when the app or legal requirements change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
